A stylish new steakhouse is making its way from Cincinnati to the heart of Columbus. Losanti, a popular boutique steakhouse known for its upscale takes on classic American fare, is set to open at 440 W. Broad St. inside the Gravity development.

The new location marks Losanti’s first expansion outside its hometown, where it debuted in 2019 near Cincinnati’s Washington Park. Known for its vintage-inspired atmosphere and elevated menu featuring filet mignon, pan-roasted seafood, and hearty pork chops, Losanti quickly gained a reputation as one of Cincinnati’s go-to dining spots.

The Columbus outpost will take over the former space of Taft’s Brewing Co., bringing a fresh new dining experience to the west side of downtown. The move is part of a broader vision for the Gravity development, led by Kaufman Development, to bring high-quality culinary and cultural experiences to the neighborhood.

Losanti is operated by Crown Restaurant Group, which also runs several successful eateries in Cincinnati. An official opening date has not yet been announced.
