Goodfellas Pizzeria, a pizza company that has grown into 10 locations throughout Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, and Tennessee, is getting ready to expand into Columbus with a new site coming to 608 N. High St.
The company’s 11th location is set to move into the former home of Callander Cleaners, which closed in 2016, according to Columbus Underground. It’s unclear exactly when this location is expected to open, but the company is working with contractors on the space and hopes to open in Summer 2025. Much like Goodfellas Pizzeria’s other ten locations, including two in Cincinnati, the new Columbus location will have thin-crust pizza baked in a stone oven with 12, 16, and 22-inch options.
While pizza is the highlight of the menu, it’s not the only offering. Goodfellas Pizzeria features a build-your-own pizza option alongside whole pies. In addition to pizza, the restaurant offers calzones and sides, including breadsticks, cheese bread, and meatballs. The menu also includes subs and salads, as well as desserts like cannolis, cookies, and cheesecake. For beverages, the restaurant features an extensive selection of bourbon, along with beer and mixed drinks, including signature and classic cocktails.
The new territory is a massive accomplishment for co-owners Alex Coats and Eric Boggs, who founded Goodfellas Pizzeria in 2006 from Lexington, Kentucky. The two had the idea of bringing a slice of New York City to different parts of the country and have since delivered with authentic flavors and an unforgettable atmosphere. Goodfellas Pizzeria also has a Bourbon Club that members can join, where each new bourbon a member tries can be logged for points.
