Columbus is about to get a delicious new destination for coffee and sweets as Lailaty Café prepares to open its doors at 3869 S. High St., Franklin, OH in just three months. The café is the brainchild of Ramy Badawy, who previously owned a successful café in his hometown in Egypt. Now, he’s bringing his passion for authentic Egyptian coffee and traditional desserts to the U.S. for the first time.

Lailaty Café has already given locals a preview of its offerings at various events, where its Tiramisu, Chocolate Cake, Pistachio Kunafa, and signature chocolate sauces were met with rave reviews. “Seeing people enjoy our treats has been the highlight of our journey,” Badawy shared. “Some customers even came back for more, and that means the world to us!”

In addition to its decadent desserts, Lailaty Café will introduce Columbus to the rich and aromatic experience of Egyptian-style coffee, a staple in Middle Eastern café culture. Paired with indulgent sweets, it promises to be a one-of-a-kind spot for coffee lovers and dessert enthusiasts alike.

As the grand opening approaches, anticipation is building for what will surely become a new favorite gathering place in the community. Keep an eye out for updates as Lailaty Café gets ready to serve up warmth, flavor, and a taste of Egypt in Columbus.
