Downtown Trenton’s W State Street is continuing to develop this year.
From their Instagram page, Trenton Sports Bar & Restaurant is coming to 4 E State Street in the downtown area. Construction is currently underway at the restaurant. Owner Rohit Chhetri told What Now Columbus he and the team are hoping to open in about a month.
Trenton Sports Bar & Restaurant is being described as a casual bar as well as a spot for South Asian Cuisine, serving biryani, curries, tandoori and momos. The owners have experience preparing traditional Indian and Nepali recipes over the years.
“Where bold Indian & Nepali flavors meet the ultimate sports bar vibes,” says a recent post from the owners.
Trenton Indian & Nepali is going in right next to Dragon China at the corner of W State and N Miami streets. Martin’s Donuts shop is right across the street, and other restaurants along the strip include bars like Hotspot and Our House Saloon. Trenton is about 45 minutes north of Cincinnati and an hour and 30 minutes southwest of Columbus.
The listed hours of operation are everyday 11 a.m.-10 p.m., except for Tuesday when the restaurant is closed. For more updates on the opening date and information on the menu, visit their website or Instagram @trentonindianrestaurant.
