The owner of the popular coffee shop is moving west for the second cafe.
Rowdy Beans Coffee is seeking a second location in Stow at 3537 Darrow Road this year. Right now, a sign is up in front of their potential new home to let the community know what is coming. Owner Julie Feld did not want to give an opening date as she and the team are still working through permitting.
The first Rowdy Beans brick-and-mortar opened in 2022 at 3759 Fishcreek Road in Stow, at the time debuted by local Tim Kittinger. Since then, staff have been very involved in the community, hosting events like local raffles out of their location. Due to their following and growth, the team decided it was time for a new location, which was initially announced in December.
“Drive past our Darrow Road building to check out our new sign and make sure to follow us on Facebook and Instagram for more updates on our move!” Says a recent post from Rowdy Beans.
One of their specialty drinks is the Rowdy’s Signature Latte with chocolate drizzle, caramel syrup, whipped cream and caramel drizzle. They also sell seasonal drinks like a pumpkin spice latte, and recently a shamrock mocha for St. Patrick’s Day. The location also sells coffee and k-cups wholesale.
The owners are hoping to open the coffee shop on the east side of Darrow Road, across from Stow-Munroe Falls Public Library. Other concepts close-by include King Dragon, Isaly’s Cafe & Catering and Altieri’s Pizza. This is close to Stow’s city center, just north of Akron.
Feld and the team will be releasing more information on the official opening timeline as permitting progresses.
