The Alibi Bourbon and Cocktail Lounge is officially expanding with a second location, bringing a new concept and space into the fold while staying rooted in the craft cocktail culture it is known for. The upcoming bar will take over the former home of Bossy Grrl’s Pin Up Joint on North High Street, marking a new chapter for the space.

The new location will lean into Prohibition era inspiration, offering a speakeasy style atmosphere designed for conversation, connection, and lingering over a well made drink. The focus remains on thoughtful hospitality and an intimate setting, building on what has made The Alibi a favorite in the Short North.

Owned by Josh Chapman, The Alibi has earned a reputation for its prohibition style craft cocktails, bourbon selections, flights, and carefully curated craft beer lineup. Chapman was selected to take over the former Bossy Grrl’s space based on his industry experience and the strength of his team, signaling confidence in the concept’s next evolution.

An opening date has not yet been announced, but the new location is expected to open soon. More details are expected to follow.
