A new eatery is spicing things up inside Saraga International Market on Morse Road. Tiffin Bites, a globally inspired concept created by tech professionals-turned-foodies Syed Salehin and Mohammad Karim, is slated to open in late June in the former Kosi location.

Both originally from Bangladesh, the co-owners were inspired by the diversity of Saraga’s shoppers. “We love food, and we also shop a lot at Saraga,” said Salehin. “It’s a very diverse population that shops here, and we wanted to bring a menu that was very diverse.”

The result? A bold lineup of fusion dishes with South Asian flair. Think Naan Quesadillas and Fusion Nachos topped with butter chicken or spiced keema, masala cheese sauce, mint chutney and tamarind crema.

Salehin predicts fan favorites will include the customizable Global Tiffin Platter and the Dhaka Tacos—“like if a taco marries a kebab,” he said.

Tiffin Bites is poised to bring adventurous new flavors to one of Columbus’ most international shopping hubs.
