Patrons have visited this Dallas restaurant since 1996 for authentic Vietnamese flavors. It is run by the Le and Nguyen families and serves rolls, Vietnamese salads, seafood, hotpots, and more. Inspection Findings at the Restaurant
The City of Dallas officials observed a dirty microwave and mold in the reach-in cooler. Employees were observed not washing their hands between tasks or before putting on new gloves. Inspectors observed cleaning chemicals stored in unlabeled Windex spray bottles. The restaurant’s sink did not drain properly.
Food inspectors found that the Dallas-based establishment used items without a date. The eatery also used chlorine test strips instead of QAC. The hand-washing sink at Vietnam Restaurant Bar & Grill had food debris.
The officials then focused on pest infestation at the Dallas food facility. Dead bugs were observed in its lighting fixtures.
Vietnam Restaurant Bar & Grill was further cited for dirty wiping clothes and uncovered food items. The Dallas eatery did not have a splash guard. Utensils were not inverted and stored at room temperature. Containers in the Vietnamese cuisine eatery were missing labeling.
