A small but impactful DFW coffee chain is getting ready to bring another fresh burst of caffeine to the area. 1418 Coffee already has locations in Plano and Prosper, and is preparing to add Celina to its roster of satisfied communities.

The cafe will be getting a newly constructed building at 565 South Preston Road, Suite 100. Paperwork filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation states that 1418 will be occupying a 3,000 square foot space. The submitted form further states that work will commence on the project on October 30 and should wrap by February 28 of next year, which bodes well for an early 2026 opening.

Founded in 2013, 1418 Coffee harnesses the power of (and passion for) the titular drink to create community. The website explains: “Born from a passion for the art and science of coffee making, we exist to bring people together in a warm, welcoming space where every cup serves as an invitation to slow down, savor, and truly connect.”

1418 Coffee gets its beans from its sister business 1418 Roasters. It sources sweet treats from Sugar Loaf Bakery, whose mission- “to bring people together around the table, to create a comfortable place to build community, and to serve up more than just tasty treats”-aligns beautifully with 1418 Coffee’s ethos.
