The McKinney dining scene will be changing alongside the leaves this autumn. A restaurant called 88 Bao Bao is bringing “a symphony of handcrafted Asian flavors” to the neighborhood, just in time for the cooler weather, reports Community Impact.

The restaurant will be cooking up fresh dumplings and hand-pulled noodles to a 2,200 square foot space at the Shoppes at Lake Forest. According to paperwork filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, work began on the 4610 West University Drive project on February 1 of this year and was set to wrap by June 1. An official opening date is not yet available, however a representative has confirmed that 88 Bao Bao will be ready to serve customers this fall.

Frisco diners already know that 88 Bao Bao isn’t to be missed; the concept has a location up and running at 4800 Eldorado Parkway, Suite 300. The restaurant has delighted visitors through its friendly approach to authentic cuisine. The website explains: “We pride ourselves on sourcing the finest, freshest ingredients—crafted with love, cooked with care, and served with a smile. Each dish tells a story, narrating the journey from our kitchen to your plate, preserving authenticity while embracing a contemporary approach.”
