A Dutch Bros is in the works for Athens. The newest quick-serve Dutch Bros will be a 950-square-foot coffee shop planned for 1002 E. Tyler St. in Athens.

The new coffee shop will include a drive-thru, but no indoor seating will be available. According to a recent project filing, construction could be complete sometime in the fall of 2023.

Dutch Bros first opened in Oregon in 1992, and dozens of locations have been popping up across Texas in recent months to bring a variety of coffee flavors to those looking for a quick pick-me-up.

The menu offers Classics such as the Caramelizer, which is a caramel mocha, or the Annihilator, which is a chocolate macadamia nut breve. The Golden Eagle with a vanilla and caramel breve with a caramel drizzle is also a favorite. Cold brews, teas, smoothies, and Rebel energy drinks are other options.

There are about two dozen Dutch Freeze options, which are blended coffee drinks with your favorite flavor choices. Although the coffee menu is extensive, Dutch Bros features a limited food menu of muffins tops and granola bars.
