A twisted and delicious chain is preparing to bring Dallas travelers the carbo burst necessary to make it through a long journey. Auntie Anne’s, the enduringly popular pretzel concept, is beginning work on a new location in the Dallas Fort Worth International Airport this summer.

Flyers passing through the transportation hub will be able to swing by 2625 International Parkway, Terminal E Gate 31 to grab a fresh, hot pretzel. While an opening date is not yet available, it is likely visitors will be able to enjoy an Auntie Anne’s treat before the year is out; according to paperwork filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, work is set to commence on the project on June 23 and should wrap by September 20 of this year.

Once renovations are completed, the quick service pretzel establishment will have a dedicated 579 square feet to serve up its fare.

Auntie Anne’s has been a snacking institution since it entered the scene in Downingtown, Pennsylvania in 1988. The brand has found massive success through its interpretation-and reinvention of-the classic soft pretzel. The chain has spread to include more than 1,950 storefronts, both domestic and international.
