The Sicilian Butcher’s New Location Set to Open in August
The modern-casual restaurant, The Sicilian Butcher, is making its way to North Dallas. Known for its craft meatballs, house-made pasta, and more, the restaurant will open on August 7, 2025. Following its Fort Worth debut in 2024, the concept’s popularity has fueled further expansion across Texas.
The location will open at 5225 Belt Line Road, Suite 240, in North Dallas. Each restaurant also features The Sicilian Baker, known for its signature build-your-own cannoli bar.
In celebration of the new opening, the brand is also donating a percentage of the opening day sales to Feed the Children.
Unique Dining Experience and Menu Offerings
The restaurant has gained widespread popularity for its unique build-your-own meal experience. Crowd favorites include the gourmet meatballs and Sicilian-style bruschetta boards. The location will feature these remarkable signatures alongside Chef Joey’s dishes, Sicilian family platters, and more. Guests can also indulge in authentic Sicilian treats, including cannoli, rotating gelato flavors, sfogliatelle, and more.
“We are so excited to bring a taste of Sicily to Dallas,” says Joey Maggiore, chef and co-founder of The Maggiore Group. “From our amazing house-made pastas and signature craft meatballs to our Build Your Own Cannoli Bar, we can’t wait to welcome guests into our kitchen and show them what true Sicilian hospitality is all about.”
Opening Day Celebrations with Donations
The Sicilian Butcher doesn’t just serve food, but also brings good to the community. To mark the occasion of this expansion, it will donate 5 percent of all sales made on the opening day. Five percent of opening day sales will benefit Feed the Children, a nonprofit focused on ending childhood hunger.
Steady Growth of the Brand
Founded by award-winning Chef Joey Maggiore, The Sicilian Butcher partnered with the Savory Fund in 2021 to fuel national growth. With this, the Sicilian Butcher has expanded since 2021 to neighboring states.
With the opening of this location, the brand will operate five locations across the Southwest. A third Texas location is slated for San Antonio later this year.
“Texas has shown up for The Sicilian Butcher. Since opening in Dallas Fort Worth last year, we’ve seen packed dining rooms, loyal regulars, and an outpouring of love for the concept,” says Andrew K. Smith, managing director and co-founder of Savory Fund. “Chef Joey and his team have built something truly special — an authentic, flavor-forward menu paired with that unforgettable Italian hospitality. We can’t wait to watch North Dallas fall in love with this beautiful new location.”
Savory Fund is a private equity firm with over 16 years of experience in the restaurant industry. Combining over $750 million in assets and expertise, it has partnered with high-potential brands.
