One of the most universal truths of the hospitality industry is that you can never have too many coffee shops. A popular chain is setting out to drive that point home by opening a new location in Fort Worth. Caribou Coffee has filed paperwork to begin construction on a new location in the region.

The cafe will be setting up shop at the south east corner of Basswood Boulevard and Old Santa Fe Trail. Paperwork filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation shows that work is set to begin on the new construction on September 8 of this year.

Caribou Coffee will be getting a ground-up new storefront, complete with drive-thru capabilities. Work on the 605 square foot space is set to conclude by November 6, suggesting locals can enjoy a hot cup of joe in late 2025 or early 2026.

Founded in 1992, Caribou Coffee has been caffeinating fans with great success since it was initially launched in Minnesota. The chain now has more than 800 global locations, anchored by great java drinks and an array of breakfast favorites including bagels and oatmeal.
