DFW flyers, be sure to pack a healthy appetite for your next trip. Chili’s, beloved for its interpretation of Tex-Mex cuisine, is opening a new location at the Dallas Fort Worth International Airport.

The popular chain is opening at 2333 South International Parkway, Terminal D. According to paperwork filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, the 5,434 space will be renovated to accommodate Chili’s. Work is set to begin on April 15, and to conclude by August 30 of this year, suggesting travellers will be able to enjoy the concept’s fare as soon as this summer.

Chili’s is a Texas-grown success story. The chain was founded in Dallas in 1975. Fueled by a casual and inviting atmosphere alongside Tex-Mex favorites, the concept has become a heavy-hitter in the food service industry. Chili’s now has over 1,600 locations globally. The restaurant’s menu features everything from fajitas to steaks to burgers.
