DFW cookie lovers, get ready for something new and delicious. New York-based bakery Chip City Cookies is bringing its signature gooey (and gigantic) interpretation of the titular treat to its inaugural regional location, in a McKinney storefront certain to thrill Dallas-area sweet fanatics later this month, reports Culture Map Dallas.
Chip City Cookies will ensure that its new home at 6650 Alma Road #100 continues a legacy for serving up sweet treats; it is taking over the space that previously housed Zero Gradi dessert shop. The bakery is holding its grand opening and ribbon cutting on September 19. Chip City is providing extra incentive for visitors to arrive early; the first 100 guests will get a free cookie with any purchase.Â
McKinney residents can look forward to choosing from a rotating menu of big, gooey cookies. The company boasts over 100 flavors, with 15 to 16 available at a time. The cookies are prepared fresh, ensuring customers always find the treat worth the calories.Â
Dallas hospitality professional Igor Stevovic will be helming the chain’s DFW debut, bringing considerable experience and an eye for quality to the endeavor.Â
