Rockwall is set to gain a Chipotle Mexican Grill, possibly sometime in late 2023. That’s according to a recent project filing that lists the location for the brand’s new ground-up building at SH 205 and Quail Run Rd. in Rockwall.
Chipotle is committed to using responsibly-sourced ingredients that never contain artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives. The Chipotle menu uses only 53 ingredients, which are never frozen, and they don’t include hormones, according to the Chipotle website.
The menu offers guests a chance to create their own burritos, bowls, and salads. Ingredients such as rice, beans, lettuce, and protein options including steak and grilled chicken can be added. Quesadillas, tacos, guacamole, and chips and queso are also options.
The new space will be just over 2,300-square-feet, and construction could kick off in late summer. Chipotle has nearly 300 locations across the state of Texas with others planned to open in coming months.
