The planned Victory Shops at Coppell is a proposed site for Piada Italian Street Food. That’s according to a recent project filing that puts the fast-casual Italian restaurant in the Northeast quadrant of Interstate-635 and Belt Line Rd. in Coppell.

Piada is on a mission “to create fresh, modern Italian food,” according to the brand’s website. The menu is prepared using high-quality ingredients with attention to simplistic cooking.

Offerings include piadas, which are an Italian-style street wrap that is baked on a stone grill, filled with a variety of flavorful ingredients, and then hand-rolled. Guests can create their own piada or try one from the menu including the Mediterranean or the BLT.

Greens & Grains are offered including the Deluxe Caesar, the Avocado Chop, and the Power Bowl with a Harissa grain blend, hummus, roasted sweet potatoes, and more. Tossed Pastas are made with durum wheat and house-made sauces. Pasta selections include the Basil Pesto Pasta and the Marinara Pasta, or you can create your own. Street Sides of Sweet Corn Salad, Parmesan Piada Stick, and Grass-fed Meatballs are also available.

Piada first opened in 2010 in Ohio, and the brand now has locations across a number of states including Indiana, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, and Texas. Construction on the new Coppell location could wrap up in late spring or early summer of 2024, according to the filing, but there is no word on when the new Piada might open to the public.
