Corralito Steak House is expanding out of El Paso and into Lubbock. It’s fifth Texas location will be in the Kingsgate Center South Shopping Center.

Sources report that the restaurant will be opening in the space previously occupied by Cattle Baron at 8201 Quaker Ave., but employees at an El Paso location could not confirm. Cattle Baron, an iconic restaurant that offered steak, seafood, and prime rib, closed its doors in June 2020.

Owned by Juan Carlos Orrantia, the popular local steakhouse has been in operation for over 25 years and currently has four successful locations in El Paso, TX.

It also operates two locations outside of the States in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, Mexico. The forthcoming Lubbock restaurant will be its first restaurant outside of El Paso in Texas.

Corralito serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks, dessert, and also offers a variety of vegan options. The extensive menu features hand-cut steaks, salads, seafoods, tacos, garnishes made from scratch and an in-house bakery. The restaurant prides itself on making everything with passion and perfection and offering excellent service in a unique warm ambiance.
