Craft & Vine, a popular taproom and eatery in Roanoke, is expanding to Plano.

Coming to 5800 Legacy Dr, the forthcoming dining experience will join the upscale Shops at Legacy. An exact opening date has not been announced, but it is listed as “coming soon” on the development’s website.

Billed as Roanoke’s favorite hot spot since 2017, Craft & Vine serves up chef created plates, 72 wine and beer taps, and a full craft bar in a welcoming atmosphere. It has been voted the area’s best date night restaurant and best wine bar more than a few times.

With a menu that makes use of local ingredients whenever possible, dishes include flatbreads, charcuterie boards, chicken schnitzel, and seafood and steak options. Truffle fries, wild mushrooms, and roasted garlic whipped potatoes are among the sides. For dessert, there’s espresso crème brûlée, caramel apple cheesecake and sticky toffee pudding.

Sunday brunch at Craft & Vine is a real delight with such offerings as shrimp toast, chicken and waffles, French toast and smoked brisket hash.

The experience in Plano is likely to be the same once it opens.
