Dallas diners hungry for a genuine Chicago bite will soon be able to enjoy a taste of the Windy City without any of the travel complications. D.L. Mack’s, Vandelay Hospitality’s ode to Midwestern tavern dining, is opening a new location in the West Village shopping center later this year, reports Culture Map Dallas.

Fans will be able to stop into 3699 McKinney Avenue, #106 to grab a crispy slice of Chicago-style pie. The location seems destined for pizza; the 4,600 square foot space previously housed MidiCi The Neapolitan Pizza Company.

Hunter Pond, the CEO of Vandelay Hospitality, looks forward to joining West Village and becoming a part of its fabric. He states: “We’re excited to contribute to its vibrant dining scene…DL Mack’s…will not only bring distinct energy and flavor to the area, but also complement the existing tenant mix by offering elevated yet approachable dining experiences.”

D.L. Mack’s West Village location will be the concept’s third DFW home. The pizzeria and restaurant currently has storefronts open and operational in Highland Park and Preston Hollow. In addition to uniquely named pizzas like The Bill Murray Special and Return of the Mack, D.L. Mack’s offers a range of chopped salads and invites guests to create their own sandwiches.

D.L. Mack’s will begin serving the West Village in late autumn.
