Dan’s Bagels, created and perfected during the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic, is planning to open its second brick-and-mortar store.

Dan Hilbert started selling his bagels from his home via pre-orders in November 2020. He opened the doors on the first brick-and-mortar location in Trophy Club on Aug. 3, 2021. The business boomed in popularity earlier this year after going viral on social media.

Now, Dan’s Bagels is working on a second location, in Fort Worth at 2428 Forest Park Boulevard. It is expected to open by spring 2025.

The menu includes rotating specials, multiple cream cheese flavors, specialty sandwiches, sweet treats and snacks.

This new location will alter an existing space and adapt fixtures, finishes, existing restrooms and an existing kitchen, including mechanical, plumbing and electrical work. The space is 2,663 square feet and will begin work in mid-December, with a projected public opening in April 2025, according to documents filed with the state.
