DFW residents who don’t want to choose between food and fun, rejoice. Beloved national chain Dave & Buster’s is bringing its unique brand of dining and recreation to Tarrant County, ensuring locals don’t need to go to a secondary location for a wholly satisfying evening.

The entertainment venue will be moving into a newly constructed building located at 251 East Macalister Road. Dave & Buster’s fans know that the concept requires considerable space to house its restaurant and myriad games, and the Tarrant location is no exception. Paperwork filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation shows that, once completed, the single-story building will span 30,000 square feet.

Customers will need to exercise a bit of patience regarding the DFW’s fifth Dave & Buster’s; work is set to begin on the project on December 15 of this year and should conclude by November 15 of 2026. With this timeline in mind, it is improbable that locals will be able to enjoy the concept’s award-winning fare before 2027.

Dave & Buster’s menu prominently features elevated versions of pub fare-think bbq ribs, smash burgers, and flatbreads for starters. After fueling up, visitors can enjoy an arcade game, shoot some pool, or play any of the myriad other games the concept offers.
