Dunkin’ Donuts is coming to 925 S State Hwy 78 in the city of Lavon. It is one of the first brands to sign a lease at the newly constructed Victory Shops development and will take up an endcap space of 1,844 square feet.
An exact opening date has yet to be announced, but pending construction work, it is likely to open by the end of 2022. The forthcoming shop will include a small seating area and a drive-thru.
The forthcoming Dunkin’ to Lavon will be the first for the growing city. It is being brought to the area by veteran franchisee, Hank Huth, and his Quality Brand Capital LLC group. Huth has expanded the coffee and donut brand in several states and was previously involved in scaling other brands including Blockbuster Video and Boston Market back in the day.
Dunkin’ is most known for its donuts, of course. But the brand also offers hot coffee, iced coffee, flavored coffees, lattes, macchiato, espresso, cappuccino, Coolatta® frozen drinks, muffins, bagels, and breakfast and bakery sandwiches.
Over the past few years, Dunkin’ has carried out aggressive expansion plans throughout the DFW metroplex with four existing franchise groups. Several of the restaurants have been multi-brand locations with sister brand Baskin-Robbins, the world’s largest chain of ice cream specialty shops.
According to a company press release, Dunkin’s goal is to eventually grow to 1,000 Texas restaurants over the long-term. Currently, there are nearly 200 restaurants in operation in the Lone Star State.
