Dutch Bros Coffee, the Oregon-based drive-through coffee chain, is set to open at 1605 Eldorado Pkwy. According to a representative for the company, they’re in “the very early stages of planning” what will be the second location in McKinney.

The brand’s first McKinney location is at 1401 N Custer Rd. It opened summer 2021 and was the first Dutch Bros in North Texas. Dutch Bros Coffee has opened almost 40 locations throughout Texas and is rapidly expanding in the DFW area. Over the past year, locations have opened in Fort Worth, Plano, Richardson, and Princeton.

The forthcoming McKinney Dutch Bros will be a new construction of 950 square feet. As with other locations, the spot will serve coffee and other beverages via drive-thru.

Founded in 1992 by Dane and Travis Boersma, Dutch Bros is hoping to have around 100 locations throughout Texas by 2023.

The brand is known, of course, for its coffee – cold brews, freezes, Americanos – but also offers a variety of other drinks including teas, smoothies, lemonades and sparkling soda water.
