A popular and expanding national java chain is preparing to pour a fresh cup for Denton locals. Dutch Bros coffee has filed the paperwork for a new location in the neighborhood.

Paperwork filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation show that the concept will be setting up its urns and percolators at 2821 Eldorado Parkway. The 820 square foot space appears to have a history with fast-casual fare; the building previously housed a Salad and Go and a Bojangles.

The TDLR paperwork confirms that the project will renovate instead of rebuilding the existing space. Work is set to begin on Dutch Bros on February 24, 2025 and to wrap by April 18 of this year.

Despite its Oregon origins, the coffee chain has established a rather formidable presence in Texas. Since its establishment in 1992, Dutch Bros has opened nearly 200 storefronts in the Lonestar State. Propelled by great, traditional coffee beverages, energy drinks, and delicious pastries, the brand shows no signs of slowing its spread.
