Texas will soon become home to a South Carolina-based breakfast franchise. Eggs Up Grill recently signed its largest development agreement in the brand’s history with Alliance Food Group, which now plans to open 30 locations across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.

Alliance Food Group owners Ron Donaldson and Ron Donaldson, Jr. will develop the restaurants across DFW. Rob Hunter will act as director of operations for the first Eggs Up Grill DFW location set to open in spring of 2023, according to a press release.

The Donaldsons and their partners previously owned more than a dozen restaurant including Subway and Checkers. “We are elated to have Ron and his Alliance Food Group team on board to lead the way as we enter the great state of Texas and the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex,” said Ricky Richardson, CEO of Eggs Up Grill, in a statement. Eggs Up Grill has dozens of locations across the Southeastern U.S.

The Eggs Up Grill menu features breakfast sandwiches, omelets, pancakes, and brunch bowls including shrimp and grits. Burgers, sandwiches and wraps, and salads are also available to diners. Guests can savor a freshly brewed coffee or enjoy a mimosa or two with their breakfast, brunch, or lunch.
