A glamorous, timeless concept embodying the allure and mystique of Hollywood’s Golden Age

EVELYN, a glamorous and elegantly timeless restaurant by Dallas-based Reach Hospitality—known for The Mexican, Black Tap, and Pie Tap—is set to open on Wednesday, March 26, in Dallas’ Design District at 1201 Turtle Creek Blvd, Dallas, TX 75207.

EVELYN exudes confidence, sophistication, and a striking feminine energy. The space offers a transportive dining and nightlife experience that blends cuisine, drinks, and a vibrant atmosphere infused with disco, rock ‘n’ roll, and dancing.

Designed by ICRAVE design firm (Catch, STK), EVELYN transports guests through different eras of entertainment. The 9,500 square foot space features The Piano Room, an intimate dining room where guests can indulge in expertly crafted steaks and seafood, classic cocktails, and an atmosphere of timeless sophistication. The Ruby Room, the main bar, is a lively space featuring 75-100 seats. Room Seven, the sexy and sophisticated lounge, also featuring 75-100 seats, is a late-night haven exuding a high-energy 70s and 80s dancefloor vibe. It’s a place where great music, electric ambiance, and exceptional cocktails merge into an unparalleled experience.

Lisa Johnson, ICRAVE Design Manager explains the design in a statement, “EVELYN is more than just a restaurant or bar, it’s a destination where nostalgia and modern allure converge, creating a seamless fusion of past and present. With a design inspired by the bold glamour of decades past, EVELYN is a little bit disco, a little bit rock ‘n’ roll, and always effortlessly cool. Every room reveals a different side of her personality, adding to her aura of mystery. Guests are drawn into her world through carefully curated spaces that radiate energy and an undeniable sense of intrigue. You’ll feel her presence in every detail—always familiar yet never seen.”

“The idea for this concept actually started with the lounge – Room Seven,” Co-Founder of Reach Hospitality, Todd Istre explains. “We felt Dallas was missing a luxury space where you could have dinner, dance, and enjoy a full night out all in one spot. We wanted to create something that bridges the gap between an old Hollywood steakhouse and a sophisticated nightlife venue but also very intentionally female-forward, unlike any other steakhouse in town.”

EVELYN’s menu pays homage to the essence of classic Hollywood steakhouses, where nostalgic flavors and modern techniques come together to create extraordinary dishes. Guests can expect premium cuts of meat,  seafood, martinis, and an array of dishes that complement the space’s elegance and energy. The full dinner menu is available in Room Seven, and a late-night menu ensures that the culinary experience extends well beyond dinner hours.

The menu offers steaks sourced from the finest ranches and prepared with care to artfully crafted appetizers such as the Wagyu Cheesesteak Bites, featuring caramelized onions, aged provolone mornay, with shaved black truffle; and the Jumbo Lump Gulf Crab & Avocado Stack – heirloom cherry tomato, pickled onions, sweety drop peppers, shoestring potatoes and truffle chile crisp. Guests can also enjoy Caviar service featuring Siberian Baerii, Platinum Osetra, and Golden Osetra. For those looking to indulge in seafood, fresh seafood towers are on the menu with options of the Petite or the Grande – each served with fresh horseradish, cocktail sauce, champagne mignonette, drawn butter, and lemon.

EVELYN’s steak selections showcase cuts such as the Texas Wagyu Strip, a 14 oz. cut from Rosewood Ranch in Texas; a 22 oz. dry-aged Prime Ribeye from DemKota Ranch in South Dakota; an 18 oz. Kansas City Strip from Allen Brothers; a decadent F-1 Wagyu Tomahawk Ribeye from Australia; and for a taste of Japan, the Japanese Miyazaki A5 Wagyu – cooked tableside on a hot lava rock.

Entree include the Whole Maine Lobster Linguine – broiled, split, creamy lobster velouté linguine; Bone-in Veal Chop Parmesan with spicy tomato sauce, burrata, and basil pesto; and the Chilean Sea Bass – oven-roasted and served with mushrooms, cipollini onions, blistered cherry tomatoes, and warm buttermilk-dill vinaigrette.

EVELYN’s drink program is home to classic, era-driven cocktails and a martini program that epitomizes style. The martini selection, thoughtfully priced from $17- $22 spans classic options such as The House martini with Bombay Sapphire gin, vermouth, white balsamic vinegar to The Vesper with Bombay Sapphire gin, vodka and vermouth as well as Martini service for two called the Dirty Duo and more. One daring creation, should guests choose, is The Price of Fame ($150) featuring Nolet’s Reserve Gin, dry vermouth, black truffle bitters, and caviar-stuffed olives.

The cocktail menu evokes the glamour of the ‘60s and ‘70s, capturing the essence of Hollywood’s golden age. Handcrafted cocktails like the Time Stands Still – Gray Whale Gin, Sloe Gin, lemon, Luxardo Maraschino and lavender honey; the Seven Deadly Husbands – Maker’s Mark, Amaro Montenegro, peach, lemon, foam, bruleed peach; and the Wagyu Manhattan – A5 wagyu washed Michters Rye Whiskey, Amaro Nonino, Foro Rosso, black truffle bitters, are designed to elevate the moment.

Alongside the martinis and cocktails, EVELYN offers a carefully selected wine list showcasing the finest New and Old World wines, allowing guests to indulge in the best.

EVELYN is officially open to the public on Wednesday, March 26 at 4:30pm.
