Joel Roldan, the man who began Toasted Coffee + Kitchen and Deep Ellum’s Yellow Rosa bar, is opening a new coffee concept called Remote Coffee this spring at 10999 Garland Road.

A recent article from Culture Map Dallas outlined Roldan’s plans to bring nutritious food and “the best coffee available” to a a newly updated location that was once the home of a TC shaved ice stand.

Remote Coffee is an answer to a call that increased during COVID — remote work options. Though, of course, caffeine is for all — as are breakfast tacos, which the location is expected to serve in addition to traditional coffee drinks that focus on quality first, and affordability in close second.

Roldan told the Lakewood Advocate that he’s aims “to provide a manageable habit or a manageable daily delight in your day-to-day that isn’t going to break your bank.”
