Rise and shine Carrollton diners, one of the top breakfast and lunch chains is bringing the most important meal of the day to the neighborhood. First Watch, with its extensive menu of morning favorites, will be helping locals greet the day later this year.

The popular national chain will be opening in a renovated building at 3204 E Hebron Parkway. According to paperwork filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, work began on the 4,125 square foot space on November 25, 2024 and is set to wrap on March 24 of this year.

First Watch will be refurbishing an existing building, however the space will be as good as new once the project is completed. The TDLR describes the upgrades awaiting the storefront as “Full service restaurant tenant upfit including all new interior finishes, plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems. This project has a limited exterior scope to include exterior waiting benches and patio tables and chairs”.

First Watch served its first customers in California in 1983. The chain has expanded to a staggering 535 locations across the country. The eatery’s menu features a wide variety of freshly made options, ranging from traditional favorites like eggs benedict to unusual originals including carne asada hash.
