A healthy fast-casual restaurant is laying roots in the DFW and preparing to bloom in Frisco. Flower Child, a concept that promises “a holistic experience rooted in good”, has filed paperwork to open a new location in the neighborhood, though future customers have quite a wait ahead of them.

The chain will be serving up salads, bowls, and wraps in a 3,800 square foot storefront located at 5501 Fields Parkway. Fans of Flower Child should temper their excitement; the restaurant is still in the highly preliminary stages and an opening date is relatively far in the future. Paperwork filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation shows that work isn’t set to begin on the project until March 1 of 2027 and should conclude by July 1 of that same year. The submitted forms also state that Flower Child’s Frisco home will include a patio, a certain enticement for future regulars.

Flower Child began providing a nutritious alternative to conventional fast-casual fare in 2014. Fueled by healthy, organic cuisine, the chain now has over 40 locations open across the United States.
