Cowtown Brewing Co. is launching a second location and that probably doesn’t come as a surprise to those who are familiar with the Fort Worth-based taproom. Founded on the idea that great beer deserves equally great barbecue, the company offers guests a true taste of Texas.

The first location, which opened in 2018, can be found at 1301 E. Belknap St., just minutes from Sundance Square in downtown Fort Worth. It features a 5,000-square-foot taproom and an expansive outdoor deck. The taproom offers a view of the brewery and includes 12 taps, a wall-size projection screen, HD televisions and a robust sound system.

Cowtown gives its drafts unique names such as Everybody’s Doing It, Moondance and Rhinestone Cowboy. Aside from libations, the taproom also serves succulent barbecue that is smoked on-site. Brisket, pulled pork, ribs, and a variety of sides are all on the menu. Meat platters, family meals, and daily specials are also available.

The taproom recently won a silver medal for its Dortmunder style beer, High Brau, at the Great American Beer Festival as well as a silver medal at the U.S. Open Beer Championship for its American Light Lager, Cold Fort Worth Beer.

The Southlake addition of Cowtown Brewing Co. will be located at 1512 E. Southlake Blvd., Ste. 10. It will offer a variety of craft beer and bar foods.
