The mercury in the thermometer may be starting to fall, but a popular taco chain is making sure DFW diners continue to feel the heat. Fuego Tortilla Grill is bringing house-made tortillas, taco innovation, and roasted poblano queso to Burleson, and local foodies will be able to satisfy their hunger before the end of autumn, reports Culture Map Fort Worth.
Fuego is taking over a 3,099 square foot storefront at 955 North Burleson Boulevard. The chain’s fortuitous arrival will fill the void left when Taco Cabana-the space’s previous tenant-closed shop.
The eatery from the Uncommon Brands hospitality group will be ready to serve hungry foodies no matter when the taco cravings hit (provided they hit between Tuesday and Sunday). Fuego will be open 24 hours a day, every day except Monday.
Fuego’s Burleson location will be its fifth Texas storefront. The restaurant is slated to open on October 14, with an array of festive freebies planned for new customers including Fuego tee shirts and a year of free queso.
Fuego Tortilla Grill sets itself apart from the competition through its cuisine; the Mexican favorite makes its own tortillas in-house and uses fresh and high quality ingredients. The menu features creative taco interpretations that fuse the best of Mexico and Texas. Expect the unexpected-think dishes like the Dr. Pepper Cowboy taco, made of smoked brisket, grilled onions, Dr Pepper BBQ sauce, chipotle cream corn, and jack cheese, or the Hippie taco, which features char-flamed chicken, bacon, chipotle cream corn, guacamole, and jack cheese. Customers not in a taco mood can indulge in one of the restaurant’s bowls. Fuego also offers breakfast options for early risers.
