A smashing new restaurant is preparing to feed DFW burger enthusiasts. Hamburgotti’s, already a local favorite thanks to its food truck operations, will be opening in Richardson before the year is out, reports Community Impact.

The concept, founded and helmed by brothers Morad and Mohamed Barghouti, will be opening its first brick-and-mortar at 1057 S. Sherman Street, Suite 2. The 1,364 square foot storefront will begin greeting and serving customers this December, though a precise date for the opening isn’t publicly available yet.

The Barghouti brothers developed their burger recipe out of the home, serving family and friends. The website explains the genesis of the name “Hamburgotti’s”, saying: “Our family name is “Barghouti” and we love burgers so much, we decided to call it “Hamburgottis” and we named our burger “THE HAMBURGOTTI”.”

Hamburgotti’s specializes in smash burgers, arguably the hottest version of the dish currently on the market. The halal sandwiches come in single, double, and triple patty options, allowing visitors to choose their meal based on their personal hunger.
