A healthy fast-casual chain that DFW diners have welcomed with open arms and rumbling stomachs, is planning another regional location. Luna Grill, which specializes in heart-healthy Mediterranean cuisine, is planning a new storefront in Forney, set to be its tenth in the region.

The fast-growing chain will be setting up shop at 11470 W Hwy 80, Suite 1100A. Forney diners still have a bit of time to build up an appetite for Luna’s cuisine; Chief Marketing Officer Billy Grenham generously confirmed with What Now Dallas that the restaurant will be opening in Q3 of 2026.

Luna Grill has already been embraced by the DFW, most recently in Plano where a new location opened earlier this year. Speaking of the community’s response to the concept, Grenham says: “The people of Plano have an incredible appreciation for food that’s both delicious and nutritious. It’s a community that values balance – they want meals that make them feel good, not just full and that’s exactly what Luna Grill is all about.”

The welcome has in fact been so warm that Luna has accelerated plans for catering and is now prepared to offer that service to local businesses. October is the perfect time to stop into the Plano storefront; any purchase made through the app through the end of the month will unlock a free bowl in November. Future Forney regulars will want to make sure they download the app to enjoy the many perks and benefits it offers.
