DFW foodies, don’t sleep on your next great sweet obsession. Insomnia Cookies, founded in Philadelphia but beloved across the country, is opening a new shop in Dallas.

The scent of freshly baked cookies will soon be wafting through the concept’s new storefront at 3607 Greenville Avenue. Paperwork filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation states that work is scheduled to commence on the eatery on May 5, 2025, and should be wrapped by September 15 of this year. The completed renovation will provide the bakery with 1,100 square feet of space.

Insomnia Cookies first began keeping fans up all night in Philadelphia in 2003. Fueled by a range of classic treats as well as cookie sandwiches and pints of ice cream, the chain has spread to over 300 locations. The company was founded by UPenn student Seth Berkowitz as a means of sating late night cravings during study sessions. Proving the perfect sweet release, the concept’s appeal reaches well beyond hungry co-eds and unto anyone who enjoys a delicious snack.
