Dallas County sandwich fans, something big is on its way. Jason’s Deli, a massive chain with a broad reach, has received approval from Coppell to develop a new location in the neighborhood.

The City Council of Coppell approved the construction of the restaurant at a January 14, 2025 meeting. The evening’s agenda shows that the eatery is on deck to occupy 4,618 square feet at  240 North Denton Tap Road. The proposal allows for a 10 footwide and 200 foot long drive-thru lane for diners on the go.

Jason’s Deli will be serving delicious, freshly made cuisine from 10 am to 10 pm, 7 days a week at its new Coppell location. While the storefront is still in the early stages of development, having just received the approvals necessary to move forward, locals may not have to wait too long to enjoy a reuben or hot pastrami sandwich. As the City Council Meeting minutes note: “The building will remain the same except for the addition of the drive-through area where a drive-through window will be added and dressed in a combination of porcelain tile and faux wood wall cladding.”

Founded in Beaumont, Texas, in 1976, the family-owned chain has amassed an impressive culinary empire through its emphasis on quality and natural ingredients. Jason’s has expanded to include more than 246 locations across the country.

The concept, which features a massive menu of deli favorites, both expected and unusual, has worked hard to phase out synthetic ingredients, removing artificial colors, dyes, and high-fructose corn syrups from its cuisine.
