DFW diners, prepare to forget everything you know about ice cream. Kwality Ice Cream is getting ready to provide a fresh education on the topic of everyone’s favorite frozen dessert, courtesy of South Asian flavors and treats. The chain will be opening a location in Frisco later this year, reports Culture Map Dallas.

The Jersey transplant is laying down roots at 13089 Main Street, #500. According to paperwork filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, the newly constructed building will provide Kwality Ice Cream with 1,760 square feet of space with which to serve hungry customers.

An official opening date is not presently available; franchisee Raju Vikey states only that the storefront will open at some point this year.

While Kwality Ice Cream has plenty of flavors to excite visitors hoping for something familiar, it is the concept’s more unique offerings that set it apart. The ice cream parlor specializes in Indian varieties that are less sweet, without sacrificing flavor. Expect scoops of green guava and tropee lychee alongside old favorites like chocolate chip cookie dough.
