An Irving Italian favorite is preparing to pull up stakes. Local diners won’t need to mourn the loss of Lamberti’s Ristorante & Wine Bar, however; the beloved establishment may be closing one door but it’s also opening another. The restaurant is undergoing a minor name change and relocating to the Water Street area of Las Colinas.

Lamberti’s Ristorante & Wine Bar will be rebranding as simply Lamberti’s Ristorante but staying close to its roots with the new space. Paperwork filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation states that Lamberti’s will have a dedicated 3,351 square feet at 5238 North O’Connor Boulevard, #134. Renovations will begin on the ground floor storefront on July 11 of this year, however it is highly improbable that locals will be able to stop in and grab a bite before the end of 2025. Work is projected to wrap by December 16, suggesting an early 2026 opening.

Most importantly, however, for fans of the Italian staple, despite new digs and dropping the “& Wine Bar” from its name, Lamberti’s Ristorante is maintaining all of the qualities that have kept it so popular. A press release provided to What Now Dallas reassures locals, saying: “As always, Lamberti’s will stay true to our core values: Local, Famiglia, and Tradition. We will continue to serve the same high-quality ingredients, generous portions, and comforting family recipes that have become staples in our warm, family-friendly environment. We’ll be bringing with us our signature events like Ferragosto, wine dinners, and seasonal celebrations—designed to bring our community together and rooted in the traditions that define Lamberti’s.”

Lamberti’s strives to provide visitors with delicious and authentic Italian cuisine in a warm and welcoming environment. Regulars can rest assured that the restaurant will be a part of the community for a long time to come. As the release states: “Though we may be changing locations, we are not changing who we are. We’re honored to call Irving home—and always will be.”
