Nothing says “summer” quite like ice cream, and an upcoming ice creamery is bringing DFW diners a new way to greet and beat the heat this year. Little Moose Creamery, a family-owned sweet shop, will be scooping its way into the hearts and stomachs of Frisco locals just in time to welcome the hottest season.

Little Moose Creamery will be bringing a warm and welcoming ice cream experience for the whole family to 5501 Preston Road, Suite 120. Co-owner Cecile Luk was kind enough to fill What Now Dallas in on Frisco’s next great ice cream shop-its origins, its aspirations, and-of course-its ice cream.

“The story of the Little Moose Creamery began with two ice cream enthusiasts who sought out high-quality ice cream while traveling to every corner of the world.” Luk says. “Starting as a childhood dream and now a dream comes true, me and my husband decided to bring premium soft serve and happiness to Frisco.”

Little Moose Creamery will have scoops to please every taste, from the most straightforward to the more adventurous. Luk explains: “We will have some staple flavors like vanilla, chocolate, strawberry and cookies & cream, alongside rotating seasonal flavors such as matcha, salted caramel, mango, piña colada, London fog etc. We plan to introduce new flavors every month so there is always something fresh for our guests to try.”

Little Moose Creamery will use premium ingredients, ensuring Frisco foodies will be able to feel good about indulging their sweet teeth there. “Little Moose Creamery will feature all natural flavorings, hand-selected gourmet toppings and homemade waffle cones baked fresh in store daily. To ensure everyone in our community can enjoy a sweet escape, we also feature a dairy free and vegan friendly frozen delight on our menu.”

Little Moose is both family-run and family-oriented-the love of family even manifests in the concept’s name. Luk states “We took the inspiration from our young daughter’s love of moose, and her love of ice cream of course!”

That commitment to family is part of what drew the Little Moose team to Frisco. Luk explains: “We like Frisco’s wonderful community vibe and its convenient access. Frisco is a family oriented city and we want Little Moose Creamery to be part of this neighborhood, bringing sweet little moments to everyday life.”

Future Little Moose regulars will be able to enjoy their treats in a cozy dining area. Creating a comfortable environment where visitors can indulge in a delicious treat is the culmination of the Little Moose team’s ultimate goal: “As a family-owned ice cream shop, we believe good food connects people and creates lasting memories. Little Moose Creamery is more than just the perfect swirl, it is a warm and inviting space for the community where neighbors can connect, families can celebrate and new traditions are born.”
