A Texas-favorite bar chain is giving DFW diners a new place to kick back, enjoy a cold beer, and relax with friends. Little Woodrow’s, an establishment built around the charms of “good times & colder beer” is bringing its signature brand of food and fun to Frisco later this year, reports Community Impact.

The restaurant and bar, which promises to become Frisco’s “new official Gameday HQ”, is opening in a renovated space at 8320 SH 121. Paperwork filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation shows that Little Woodrow’s will span 10,915 square feet and al fresco enthusiasts have reason to rejoice; alterations include the addition of an exterior patio.

An exact opening date is not yet available for Little Woodrow’s Frisco location, however locals won’t have to wait too much longer to sink their teeth into its cuisine. The company website states that the establishment will be ready to greet and serve customers this spring.

Frisco is the latest Texas city to welcome Little Woodrow’s, but the chain is a well-established institution in the Lone Star state. Launched in 1995, the restaurant now has 23 locations open and operational, all located in Texas.

While Little Woodrow’s is entrenched in Texas culture, it only has one other location in the DFW-a Fort Worth storefront. The company website offers curious future customers a peak at what’s in store, saying: “A colorful local spot in Frisco, Texas with the patio to match; Little Woodrow’s Frisco will be your new official Gameday HQ! Kick back and watch the game, chill with old friends and cold beer, or grab a bite to eat.”
