For years people have been coming to Marco Perez’s restaurant to enjoy authentic Mexican food like chicken flautas, street tacos and menudo.

And now, all of that deliciousness might be coming to the people.

What Now Dallas can confirm that Mexican Restaurant Perez is looking to expand with a “mobile vendor unit.” The restaurant has filed a building permit application with the City of Forth Worth to vend at 8128 Camp Bowie W Blvd., where Corsets Cabaret used to operate.

It’s unclear if Mexican Restaurant Perez will use the building itself or operate a food truck out of the property’s parking lot. Reps for the restaurant on Friday did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Currently located at 3702 Altamesa Blvd., operating a mobile unit, will allow Perez to travel to different locations and introduce more people to their menu. And Fort Worth is no stranger to eateries on wheels. At one point, the city had a park in the Cultural District that was dedicated to food trucks where visitors could enjoy a variety of dishes by top local chefs.
