Mexican Sugar announced the opening of its third location in the heart of Uptown Dallas at 2355 Olive Street, near the intersection of McKinney and Olive. Mexican Sugar celebrates the vibrancy and richness of Mexican culture and cuisine.
Spanning over 12,000 square-feet, with a seating capacity of almost 400 guests, the new Uptown location features two floors of dining space, complete with views of the American Airlines Center and the Hotel Crescent Court.
“We can’t wait to open our newest Mexican Sugar restaurant in such a premier location,” said Justin Beam, General Manager of Mexican Sugar in a statement. “As we bring our lighter, fresher, and better approach to Mexican cuisine to Uptown, we’re confident that our guests will enjoy the unique culinary experience. We look forward to creating unforgettable moments in every corner of this remarkable venue including our second-floor patio which offers one of the most breathtaking views in the city.”
Mexican Sugar is committed to using fresh, seasonal ingredients and preparing everything from scratch. The menu is comprised of traditional flavors of Mexico with a contemporary twist that aims to redefine the perception of Mexican cuisine. Highlights include premium seafood including Tuna Crudo and Striped Bass, slow roasted Bone-In Pork Chop, handmade tortillas and more.
The new Mexican Sugar location will also feature an Agave Library for tequila enthusiasts to indulge in a curated collection of over 150 tequilas and mezcals.
The Uptown Dallas location is slated for a grand opening in May and will mark Mexican Sugar’s third restaurant in the metroplex. The original Mexican Sugar opened in Plano, Texas, in 2013 followed by Las Colinas, Texas, in 2020.
