It appears as if a Dallas fried chicken restaurant will be undergoing some changes. Plans are to remodel the 2,500-square-foot Mike’s Chicken at 4234 Maple Ave., Dallas, TX 75129.
There’s no word, yet, on exactly what type of renovations are planned. The remodel could begin in August and be complete by this November, according to state licensing documents. Mike’s Chicken’s second location is having a soft opening this week at 7752 Forest Ln., Dallas, TX 75230.
Mike’s Chicken offers fresh, hand-cut tenderloins that are hand-battered and cooked in 100% refined peanut oil. Tender and chicken piece plates are offered, as well as family packs. There are a number of sides to choose from including mashed potatoes, creamy corn, coleslaw, and more.
Diners can also try a Mike’s Sandwich or a Crispy Chicken Salad and finish off the meal with a churro or Reese’s Peanut Butter Cookie for dessert.
