A rapidly-growing fast-casual chain is preparing to bring a warm “aloha” and island flavors to a new DFW location. Mo’ Bettahs is getting ready to serve up hearty servings of delicious Hawaiian-style cuisine to McKinney diners, according to recently filed paperwork.
The restaurant has submitted forms to open its next DFW storefront at 4070 W University Drive, Suite 100. According to the paperwork filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, Mo’ Bettahs will be occupying a 1,900 square foot space. McKinney foodies eager to dig into the concept’s cuisine will need to exercise some patience. Construction is set to begin on the project on September 7 of this year.
A representative from Mo’ Bettahs kindly confirmed to What Now Dallas that the brand is hoping to have the eatery open in late summer or early fall, while acknowledging that the restaurant is still in the early phases of development and opening dates are always moving targets.
Mo’ Bettahs has been on the dining scene since 2008, when it opened its first location in the somewhat-unexpected location of Utah. The chain now has more than 60 storefronts open and operational, fueled by its commitment to great service and delicious food: “By keeping our menu true to the Hawai’i we know and love, featuring favorites like Kalua Pig and Pulehu Chicken, we honor our ‘ohana and lifestyle. It is our hope that with each visit you will feel your love grow for your family and friends as you share experiences in our ‘backyard.’”
