DFW diners, get ready for a fresh helping of island flavors. Mo’Bettahs, a chain known and beloved for its commitment to recreating the tastes and feel of Hawaii wherever it sets up camp, has filed papers for a new Midlothian storefront, joining several others open across the greater Dallas area.
The restaurant will be bringing tropical breezes and authentic cuisine to 201 Nicolette Creek Road, Suite 131. According to forms submitted to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, Mo’Bettahs will be occupying a 2,641 square foot storefront.
Midlothian diners can expect to see work begin on the restaurant this spring; construction is set to commence on March 23 of this year. The project is projected to wrap by June 19, boding well for a summer opening, though an official timeline is not yet available for the location.
Founded in 2008 by brothers Kimo and Kalani Mack, Mo’Bettahs was launched with the desire to “share the real Hawaiʻi with everyone who entered the restaurant.” The menu is filled with island favorites including teriyaki chicken, kalua pig, and pulehu chicken. Meals are highly customizable; guests can cobble their own dish by selecting rice, entrees, and sauces.
