The Goat Bar & Kitchen, originally established in Oklahoma, is planning a location at The Link at Uptown in Dallas. The Goat is expected to open at 2601 Olive St., Ste. 100 in Dallas, possibly in the fall of 2023, according to a recent project filing.

The filing states The Goat will be the first tenant in a 6,200-square-foot space at the recently constructed office building, The Link at Uptown. The space will be renovated to include a full kitchen, two bar areas, and an upper mezzanine level.

Cousins James Alame and Nabil Alame first opened The Goat Bar & Kitchen, a modern restobar, in downtown Tulsa’s East Village in 2020. They wanted to create a space to feature Mediterranean dishes combined with international influences, a bar serving craft cocktails, and an atmosphere to promote live DJs and musicians, according to the company’s website.

The menu features shareables such as the Nachos Tower, Falafel and Hummus, and Baked Goat Cheese. A variety of flatbreads, burgers and sandwiches, salads, and wraps are also offered. Guests can enjoy signature dishes such as Blackened Shrimp Pasta, Chicken Kebob Skewer, and Glazed Salmon. Desserts of Homemade Baklava Cheesecake and Nutella Crepes can curb anyone’s sweet tooth. Weekend brunch is also served.

The Tulsa location transitions to a vibrant lounge after dark. On select weekends, guest DJs turn up the tunes for guests to dance the night away. Craft cocktails include the Blueberry Yum Yum with Western Son Blueberry Vodka, Aperol Aperitif, fresh lime, and champagne, and Millionaires Margarita with Cazadores Reposado, Grand Marnier, lime, orange, and agave. A variety of draft, canned, and bottled beer, plus wine and bubbles are offered.
