One of fast-casual dining’s hottest names is preparing to spice up the DFW’s poultry game. Dave’s Hot Chicken is deepening its presence in the region with a new storefront planned for Cedar Hill.

The dining juggernaut is setting up shop at 905 N. Highway 67, Suite 100. Franchisee Dave Futrell kindly explains to What Now Dallas that Cedar Hill has been hungry for Dave’s Hot Chicken for quite some time, saying “It has been one of our most requested areas from locals to please bring one and we are so excited we are now able to.”

Paperwork filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation shows that the chain is moving into a renovated 2,590 square foot space. Work is set to commence on the project on May 25 of this year and Futrell confirms that he and his team are optimistic that they will be customer-ready by late August.

Dave’s Hot Chicken has proven a powerful presence in the fast-casual chicken scene since its inception in 2017. Anchored by a simple but delicious menu that allows the titular dish to be the true star, the chain has spread to over 300 global locations.

The DFW has not proven immune to Dave’s Hot Chicken-mania. Futrell himself has adeptly helped make the brand a pivotal part of the local hospitality scene. He and his team are enthusiastic about launching this new location; Futrell eloquently states: “We are very excited to Bring Dave’s to Cedar Hill. We look forward to serving this outstanding area for years to come.”
