A popular national chain is getting ready to bring the next best thing to DFW residents craving a Hawaiian vacation but not wanting to board a plane. Mo Bettahs is bringing all of the flavor and much of the atmosphere of the beloved island to Celina in a new storefront set to open later this year.
Celina diners will be greeting Mo Bettahs at 3505 S Preston Road. According to paperwork filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, the restaurant is opening in a newly constructed building at 3505 S Preston Road. A definitive opening date is not yet available for the Celina storefront, however a representative for Mo Bettahs confirmed with What Now Dallas that the restaurant will be customer ready by early spring.
Mo Bettahs was founded by brothers Kimo and Kalani Mack in 2008. The chain allows guests to create their own plates by selecting meats like teriyaki chicken and kalua pig, the sauce of their choice, and salad or rice. The concept’s objective is simple but worthwhile: “Eating together, sharing love, and strengthening family is a fundamental part of life on the islands. it will always be at the heart of what Mo’ Bettahs is about.”
