McKinney pizza fans, get ready for your new favorite slice. Mountain Mike’s Pizza is planning its next DFW location in the neighborhood, with an opening date planned for next year, reports Community Impact.

The 8251 Eldorado Parkway, Suite 100 storefront will be the second on Mountain Mike’s McKinney roster. Paperwork filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation shows that renovations are set to begin on the 2,568 square foot storefront on January 12 of next year, and should be concluded by April 6. The space will be getting quite the glow-up; according to the submitted paperwork, it will be getting: “new kitchen equipment, interior walls, mechanical, electrical and plumbing work & finishes.”

It is too early to predict an opening date with any degree of precision, however Mountain Mike’s is on track to greet guests in the second half of next year. In the meantime, locals can grab a slice from the pizzeria’s other McKinney location at 4590 West University Drive.

Mountain Mike’s flipped its first pie in California in 1978. The chain has enjoyed great success, expanding to include over 300 storefronts. Mountain Mike’s has a pizza for every taste, ranging from classic favorites to unique specialty varieties. Guests not in the pizza mood can enjoy wings, salads, and oven baked sandwiches.
